I used to be an introvert, but by actively and consistently taking action to be more social (e.g., talking to one new person every day, hanging out with extroverts, etc.) I soon converted to extroversion.

I'd say the process for this would be to work on your weak side until it's predominant (move "from one point to another"), and then reintegrate what used to be your strong side with your current strong side while still maintaining your current strong side.
